Electrical Equipment Operation and Maintenance Technician course
This course equips students with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment safely and efficiently. It covers both basic and advanced concepts related to electrical systems, from installation to preventive maintenance. Students will gain an understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, motors, generators, and control systems. Emphasis is placed on identifying faults, repairing equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. The course also includes practical lab sessions to reinforce theoretical learning with real-world applications. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions as maintenance technicians in various industries. They will also be introduced to emerging technologies and sustainable practices within the electrical field. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to perform maintenance tasks independently and contribute to workplace safety.
This qualification is evaluated using assessments and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ). To receive this qualification, the learner must pass both tests with a certain percentage.
The qualification has recommended course duration of 4-5 days.
Note: However the course duration may be increased to meet additional learning needs if required but not reduced.
