Plumbing Operation and Maintenance Technician Course
This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to operate, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Students will learn the fundamentals of plumbing, including water distribution, drainage systems, and fixture installations. Emphasis is placed on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing common plumbing issues. The curriculum covers the use of tools, materials, and techniques essential for pipe installation, leak detection, and system maintenance. Safety protocols and compliance with plumbing codes and standards are integral parts of the training. Upon completion, participants will be ready for entry-level positions in the plumbing industry and have the capability to perform routine maintenance tasks. Practical lab sessions will reinforce the theoretical knowledge gained in the course.
This qualification is evaluated using assessments and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ). To receive this qualification, the learner must pass both tests with a certain percentage.
The qualification has recommended course duration of 4-5 days.
