OSCAR DE LA RENTA VINTAGE 1969 EARLY 1970S METALLIC M Gem Prettiest Early 1970s Oscar de la Renta Floral Printed Halter Dress w Oscar de la Renta, Spring, 1970 Fashion, Editorial fashion, Fashion 1970s Oscar De La Renta Silk Halter Gown at 1stDibs. I have had this dress before and it feel even more relevant and better this time! It is a stunning design and an early example of De La Renta's work. The colors on the soft jersey are still as crisp and true as they would have been when it was produced and I love how they absolutely pop against the deep navy base of the dress helped in part by the white backdrop used on each! Cut halter style you step into it and then it hooks and ties at the bottom of the deep front plunge. This leaves the back completely bare to the waist! A high slit inches up the front all adding up to an insanely sexy dress that maintains its sense of classiness. The fabric is a jersey silk mix that makes it super easy to wear. and travel with it is virtually wrinkle resistant. I love the contrasting edging along the front plunge, the tie at the waist and the hem it really sets off the design to perfection! Excellent, appears unworn condition Bust: variable with no true side seams Waist: 12. 5" flat across from side seam to side seam Hips: open Bodice: approx 14" from shoulder to waist Length: 41" from waist to hem Unlined and hooks, snaps and ties at the front. It is deeply plunged the the waist and there is also a 30" front slit (you could tack this closed if you wish). You could move the hooks and snaps to adjust the wasit up or down at least an inch if needed. hand finished Modern Sizing equivalent: XS SML Item# DD1086 This garment has been professionally cleaned, pressed and is odor free.
