This Paganne jersey dress is a little unusual from the ones you normally see in that it is smocked in an unusual design across the top. The entire top portion of the dress is gathered in horizontal rows of elastic. This allows the dress to stretch and conform to fit pretty much any figure or size as long as the shoulders and hips work on you. The sleeves have a nod to Victorian days past in their shape. This is created with that same smocking technique on the upper shoulders so that they look more fitted even though the combination of elastic and jersey feels very easy to wear. Below the smocking they pouf out slightly and then cinch back in at each buttoned cuff. The skirt is long and lean and is just the jersey with no elastic running through it. This really allows that pretty print that covers the fabric to be shown off to its best advantage. The pinks and blues pop nicely off the black base too. The fabric is a washable jersey so is very easy to travel with and will hold up extremely well. Very unusual and easy to wear just slip it on, add fabulous shoes and go. Excellent condition. Unlined and closes at the back with a metal and nylon zipper. Each cuff buttons to close. No label present but the fabric is signed.
